Springy Floral Frames Featuring Hex Nail Jewelry Charms!

Hello everyone! Today I have some floral frame nails to share!

I've been applying for jobs lately but I've yet to hear back from anyone. My boyfriend is still away for another month so I wish I could get a job to make the time go by quicker! On the plus side, I have been able to relax and do a lot of things that I like, but that does make the time seem to go by slower.

Anyways, onto the nails!

I started off with two coats of OPI My Dogsled is a Hybrid, OPI Good Grief! or American Apparel French Lilac on most of my nails. I then went in with each of those colours on a small paint brush for the accent nails.

Immediately after top coating the floral frame nails, I picked up the Hex Nail Jewelry charms with some tweezers and placed them while the top coat was still wet. After that dried, I top coated and cleaned up all my nails to complete the look.

What do you guys think of this look? I think they came out much too girly for my tastes but I love the charms that I used!

Negative Space Black Hearts!

Hello everyone! Today I have some black heart nails to share!

The boy I'm seeing is away for three months to tree plant and he only has service on days off when he goes into town. That, among other things, has made life sucky as of late but I'm feeling a bit better and excited to do new nails!

Onto these nails!

All I used for this look other than base and top coat (Orly Bonder and Essie Good to Go) was American Apparel Hassid. I even just used the brush from the bottle, so this really is a super easy look!

What do you guys think of this look? I always love a good heart look like this!

Naked Green & Blue Tweed Using the OPI Color Paints!

Hey guys! Today I have some tweed nails over my naked nails to share!

School has been a little busy again lately, but I'm going to try and get back to posting once a day! I'm really excited for Halloween because I'm going to be Colombia from Rocky Horror Picture Show! I think by then I'll be pretty much over my cold which will be very lovely!

Today's post will be pretty brief, so let's get onto it!

After a coat of base coat (Orly Bonder) I went in with three of the OPI Color Paints and a thin striper brush!

I used Landscape Artist, Turquoise Aesthetic and Indigo Motif!

It appears I don't have much to say about these except for the fact that I loved them! What do you think? I'd love to know!

OPI Red and Yellow Negative Space Colour Blocks!

Yo yo yo my lovely readers! Today I have some matte negative space colour blocks to share!

I have pretty crazy Mondays this year where I have eight and a half consecutive hours of lectures and labs. So yesterday I was basically recovering from the first one! We ended early but it was still pretty exhausting. I only go to school three days a week though which is pretty sweet (and is also why my Mondays are so long). Did you guys just recently start back at university too?

This is a pretty quick post but let's get into it!

I started off with a coat of my normal base coat (Orly Bonder). After that had dried, I went in with a medium-sized paintbrush and OPI Good Grief (yellow) and Coca-Cola Red (red).

I added a coat of normal top coat and then finished with a coat of matte top coat (the NYC one).

What do you guys think of these nails? I'd love to know!

Blue & Green Negative Space Dry Brush Gradient Featuring Girly Bits I've Got High Hoops!

Hi everyone! Today I have my second dry brush look I've ever done to share (first one here)!

Thank you guys so much for the lovely comments on my last post, they really mean a lot. I'm so behind in posting on social media and responding to comments but I will really try to get caught up soon!

In case you were wondering, the big change I was talking about was that my boyfriend and I broke up. We dated for almost three and a half years, all through my college and university life (so far) and starting near the end of grade twelve. I know it was for the best, however, so I know I'll be okay.

Serious stuff aside, onto the nails!

I never write about the fact that I always start with a coat of base coat (Orly Bonder) but I do! I always mention the top coat I use (Essie Good To Go) so it's only fair to start talking about my favourite base coat!

Next, I went in with American Apparel Mount Royal (dark blue seen in the bottle shot below), OPI Green-wich Village (sheer green), Girly Bits I've Got High Hoops (medium brighter blue) and American Apparel Malibu Green (teal) in that order. I wiped most of the polish off of the brush before swiping horizontally and vertically across my nail with each colour.

After a bit of dry time I added a coat of my trusty Essie Good To Go and I was finished!

These also felt quite salon-y to me as well as very beach/ocean inspired! I liked wearing these quite a lot, though they did chip quite fast. I think that happens more easily when the layer of polish is thinner so I wasn't too surprised. I was also happy to create a dry brush look that I liked because I'm generally not a fan of the way this technique looks.

What do you guys think of this look or the dry brush technique in general? I'd love to know!

Negative Space (Naked) Holographic Diamond Glitter Nails!

Hey everyone, today I have some negative space glitter nails to share!

A big change in my life happened recently so the motivation to blog was definitely not there. I want it to come back and I've really missed posting on here, so I'm going to try and get back to posting! Blogging and nails are a huge part of my life and I definitely don't want that to change!

To start, I did something I always do but don't usually mention on here; applied a coat of base coat (Orly Bonder). 

Next, I went in with Wet N Wild Wild Shine Clear Nail Protector (as a slower-drying option to my normal top coat), a brush dipped in it and the holographic diamond glitters (from eBay, see another post featuring them here). I painted a stripe or a blob depending on the nail, and then picked up and placed the glitters one by one. I think this clear polish still dries pretty fast so I wouldn't actually recommend it for something like this.

After a bit of dry time, I applied a coat of top coat (Essie Good To Go) and I was done!

What do you guys think of these nails? They felt quite salon-y to me and I really like them!

Orange and Red Negative Space Rose Nail Art!

Hello my lovely people! Today I have a negative space floral design to share!

I have another relatively quick post for you guys tonight! I think these are probably less intimidating to try and read so maybe I'll just start doing less wordy posts! Warning: there are a lot of pictures because I'm madly in love with these nails!

Onto the nails!

I started off with a coat of my usual base coat; Orly Bonder. Rather than going for a milky/sheer look I decided to go for a totally naked look under my roses!

I then went in with OPI Coca Cola Red and Essie Saturday Disco Fever and painted blobs with a medium-sized paintbrush. After doing so on all my nails, I went in with a darker version of each colour on a smaller paintbrush for more detail. I used Deborah Lippmann Jessa for the red flowers and American Apparel Lopez Canyon for the orange ones!

After allowing the flowers some time to dry, I applied a thick and careful coat of top coat and I was done!

I absolutely love how these nails turned out and I really enjoyed wearing them! They are definitely one of my favourite looks I've ever done.
