Rainbow Honey Sapphire Weapon Swatch & Review!

Hello everyone! Today I have another gorgeous Rainbow Honey polish to share!

I think the cold I have is on its last legs and I'm pretty excited about it! The cold and flu season seemed to start before the weather cooled down this year, as today was the first weekday it rained since I've been back at school. I have this massive backpack that I carry too much stuff in, so a week or two ago I took my rain jacket out from the bottom of it. Of course, I forgot to check the weather or repack it now that it would have been very useful :P. Anyway, I'm very happy that the weather is cooling down and happy to walk around school in the rain! Onto the nails!

Rainbow Honey Sapphire Weapon

Rainbow Honey Sapphire Weapon is a beautiful dark blue jelly polish with gold and green shimmer. The base either has a hint of green in it or the shimmer makes it appear that way, which makes the polish almost appear duochromatic!

Rainbow Honey Sapphire Weapon

Application-wise this polish was a dream! The RH mini polishes have really nice brushes contrary to most mini polishes. I found the consistency really perfect as well, so it was a lot easier to paint my nails in a neater fashion and I didn't have to clean up as much as usual!

Rainbow Honey Sapphire Weapon

What you see here is two thickish coats of polish and three thin coats would have worked as well if you're into that! It dried nice and quick and I topped it off with one coat of top coat (Essie Good to Go)!

EDIT: This polish did stain my nails a bit so definitely double up on base coat!

Rainbow Honey Sapphire Weapon

I've been wearing this polish for three days now and I have a bit more wear than I usually do at the three day mark. I did my base coat (OPI Matte Nail Envy) a day or two before and I could have had some oil, balm or lotion residue on top of that base. I don't really think it was the polish's fault as I usually wash my hands better or apply another coat of base coat before polishing days after doing a coat of base coat!

What do you guys think of this polish or Rainbow Honey in general? Also, should I make macro shots a thing on my blog from now on? I really love them!

Thanks so much for reading everyone! Again, I'm not sure what nails I'll have for you next time but I'll probably repaint them tonight and post them on my Instagram! Happy Tuesday! =)

Nails I've Never Posted: Take One!

Hey everyone! Today I have five manis I've never posted to share!

So I guess I shouldn't make promises about when I'm going to post next, I should just do it as often as I can and get into some kind of schedule :P. I had some pictures ready to go several days ago but they were so colour inaccurate that I didn't see any reason to post them. After that, a cold hit me like a ton of bricks that I'm still suffering from. There's this constant phlegm in my throat that no amount of water will displace (sorry if tmi) so I feel like I'm almost choking all day long. After taking a bit of a break from nails and a massive break from reading the blogs I follow (that I'm not sure I can ever catch up on) I really am excited and madly in love with nails again!

School-wise things have been pretty boring and all of my lectures have been reviews. There is one class that will be definitely include things I haven't heard before and one that will probably involve some new stuff, but it looks like my other two classes cover exactly the same things as the second year versions of them. Hopefully they'll be in slightly more detail or else what the heck am I paying for? :P Anyways, onto the nails!

Sonnetarium Raspberry Sorbet

First up we have Sonnetarium Raspberry Sorbet, which is surprisingly orange and maybe slightly different than the majority of the ones they sell. I love it anyway and I'll have to wear it again and get some proper swatch pics! I think this is two coats (but I think it would have benefitted from a third) and definitely a coat of top coat!

Sonnetarium Cucumber Salad

Next up we have another adorable Sonnetarium polish called Cucumber Salad! What you see here is two coats (I think) and a coat of top coat!

Here we have the only nail art I did while in Switzerland, using two coats (I think) of Sinful Colors Dreamer, some OPI Don't Bossa Nova Me Around and a coat of top coat. I really love my nails this short and the next time you see them they'll be about this short!

Revlon Entice

Next we have the only other nails I did in Switzerland, just two coats of Revlon Entice and a coat of top coat (again, probably two coats, I'm not 100% positive).

Sonia Kashuk Sweet Dreams

Finally, we have a horribly colour inaccurate picture of the polish I mentioned at the beginning of this post. This is one super easy coat of Sonia Kashuk Sweet Dreams, a much more purple polish than it looks here. It is still a pink polish but it has quite a bit of purple mixed in. Below you can see a much more colour accurate picture of it that I posted on my Instagram!

What do you guys think of any of these looks? I'd love to know in the comments!

Thanks so much for having a look everyone! Again, I'm not sure what I'll have for you next but I'll probably paint my nails tonight and post a picture on Instagram! I also have at least four more manis I've never posted on here to share in another post like this! Happy Friday! =)

Butter London All Hail The Queen Swatch & Review!

Hello my lovely readers! Today I have a swatch of a gorgeous neutral polish called Butter London All Hail The Queen to share!

I know it has been forever and a day since I posted but now that I'm back at school (and therefore back into a routine) I'll be back to posting every two or three days! I find my posting is more frequent and less sporadic when I'm in school despite the decrease in free time, probably because I already have a bit of a schedule going on so I'm kind of in planning mode. Anyways, onto the nails!

Butter London All Hail The Queen

I ordered this polish quite a while ago when Butter London had a sale going on as well as a free shipping over blank dollars promotion. I've come to realize I have a mad love for brown polishes but I still sometimes worry that they're a bit boring. That's definitely not the case with this mid-toned holographic beauty!

Butter London All Hail The Queen

Hidden in this polish is also a very fine pink shimmer, so when you're out in the Sun and you look at the glare on your nails it's more pink than white! I really love the added shimmer because it makes the polish even more interesting and it was a lovely surprise to notice!

Butter London All Hail The Queen

What you see here is two coats and a coat of top coat, which isn't fully opaque when you hold your nails up to the Sun. That's okay with me because I was in a hurry and it's opaque enough for my light box!

Butter London All Hail The Queen

This polish applied like the first half of the brand's name, butter! It was so easy to work with and so fast-drying, and even though I used the same top coat I always use (Essie Good to Go) this polish looked even shinier than most!

Butter London All Hail The Queen

What do you guys think of this polish or Butter London polishes in general? I'd love to know in the comments!

Thanks so much for reading everyone! I'm actually still wearing this polish as I type this so I'm not sure what kind of nails I'll have for you next! Happy Thursday! =)
