Hello everyone! Today I have a review of a super cute little dish from Born Pretty Store to share!
Today is my boyfriend's birthday and we've had a relaxing day of board game playing and sitting outside in the Sun. We are going to my favourite restaurant tonight for dinner which is also super awesome! It's a Japanese place if you're wondering. The plan for after dinner is to play more board games and watch more Avatar so it seems like today will continue to be lovely!
Onto the review!
I love this thing (link) because I used to use the lid of my acetone bottle, and this way I can close my acetone (after pouring some in here) which is a lot safer! It is easy to clean and with the lid on it seems to keep the acetone from evaporating away as quickly. The lid doesn't seal the container and it actually can spin around and sit in any orientation relative to the bottom (see above picture where it doesn't appear to be on correctly). I received this container a few months ago and there hasn't been a time that I haven't used it since!
Do you guys use any little containers like this while you're cleaning up? I am so glad I picked it out to review because I know I'll get a ton of use out of it! Also, it's on sale right now for $4.24 USD which is pretty cool!
Thanks so much for having a look everyone! If you'd like to pick this or any nail art stuff up be sure to use my code for 10% off; SKBQ10!
Happy Saturday guys! :)
This product was provided in exchange for an honest review.

Tooth Nail Art Featuring KBShimmer Laugh Myself Lily & piCture pOlish LakoDom!
Hello everybody! Today I have some teeth nail art to share!
I think I'll stick a little wisdom tooth removal update here seeing as these are the nails I did for the day of my surgery (and wore for several more days)! It will be two weeks since my surgery tomorrow and by now I can eat basically anything again (I am avoiding seeds and tiny things like that that could become lodged in my healing gums). For several days I was doing jaw stretching exercises and now I can open my mouth as wide as I could before. Except for sore teeth and jaw muscles occasionally (from getting used to eating hard foods again) I'm feeling back to normal!
Anyways, onto the nails!
For the turquoise nails, I applied three easy coats of KBShimmer Laugh Myself Lily. It was a breeze to work with and it is so freaking pretty!
For the teeth nails, I started off with a base of two coats of piCture pOlish LakoDom. By now I've learned that every piCture pOlish has a perfect formula and their brushes are so lovely too!
What do you lovely people think of this look? Lately I've been feeling really proud of myself because I've been incorporating lots of indie polishes into my nail art. Sometimes I start to worry that I'll never be able to use them all, but I'm sure I can if I continue to shy away from the mainstream brands and towards indie brands in my nail art!
Thanks so much for taking a look guys! I'll be back with a gorgeous thermal by Doctor Lacquer as I mentioned a few posts ago! Happy Thursday! =)

Next, I went in with some cremes that matched some of the glitters in Laugh Myself Lily; American Apparel Rose Bowl (to me, this is a pink but to others I think it leans more orange and looks coraly), Essie Play Date (purple) and Revlon Dreamer (blue). I never did get a picture, but on my other hand I painted a huge purple tooth on one of the accent (white) nails rather than a bunch of tiny ones.

Holographic Strawberries Featuring Doctor Lacquer Carotene Holo!
Hey everyone! Today I have some holographic strawberry nails to share!
I can't believe it will be July 1st tomorrow (Canada Day woot woot)! I had hoped to get more caught up on le blog by now, but what can you do? I think I only have four looks to get up after this one so it's not too bad! Hopefully I'll get back into posting once a day so I can finally catch up!
Onto tons of pictures!
For this look, I started with a base of two coats of Doctor Lacquer Carotene Holo. The formula and brush and all that was lovely! It's a bit of a mustardy yellow and I love that about it!
My two favourite things about Doctor Lacquer are the science-related names and the medium sized (10.5mL) bottles! Minis are too small and full sizes are too big am I right? I feel an obsession coming on and I already picked up twelve other polishes when I ordered this :P.
Next, I went in with piCture pOlish O'Hara on a medium sized paintbrush for the fruit part of the strawberries. I'm madly in love with this polish and you'll be seeing a full nail swatch tomorrow in my Canada Day mani!
Finally, I went in with B Squared Lacquer Change The Game on a small paintbrush for the leaf part. Some dry time and a coat of top coat (Essie Good To Go as per usual) and I was done!
I loved wearing these nails and I wish I had have taken a picture of my other hand! It had exactly the same design but it can't pose well and I forgot to take pictures of it.
What do you guys think of these nails or this Doctor Lacquer polish? I'd love to know!

Coral and Orange Lattice Featuring Girly Bits Hoop! There It Is
Hey everyone! Today I have a recreation of a gorgeous design by The Nail Artiste to share!
Today's post will be a quick one with lots of pictures! I had my wisdom teeth out six days ago so I'm definitely still recovering. I want to jump back into blogging just about once a day so let's get into it!
So what do you guys think of this look? I'd love to know! I liked these but the colours didn't really feel 'me'.
Thanks so much for taking a look everyone! I'll be back with one more long nail look and then we'll be into looks done on my new nubs! Happy Thursday guys!
Today's post will be a quick one with lots of pictures! I had my wisdom teeth out six days ago so I'm definitely still recovering. I want to jump back into blogging just about once a day so let's get into it!
To start, I applied two coats of American Apparel Sandstorm and allowed it to dry. Next, I went in with a fairly large paintbrush and either Girly Bits Hoop! There It Is (pinker neon) or Sonia Kashuk Sunset Bvld (orange creme) depending on the nail. Some top coat (Essie Good to Go) and I was done!
For the first time in a while I remembered to photograph my right hand! I reversed the colours which I think looks really cool with index and middle finger accent nails.
So what do you guys think of this look? I'd love to know! I liked these but the colours didn't really feel 'me'.
Thanks so much for taking a look everyone! I'll be back with one more long nail look and then we'll be into looks done on my new nubs! Happy Thursday guys!

Wheat At Sunset Nail Art Inspired by Chalkboard Nails Featuring Some Girly Bits Hoop! There It Is Collection Polishes (Duh!)!
Yo yo yo my lovely people! Today I have a look inspired by the lovely Sarah of Chalkboard Nails to share!
It just dawned on me that in less than two days I'll be going into surgery to get my wisdom teeth out. It really has been like summer over here because I didn't know we were this close to Friday already! Have any of you guys had your wisdom teeth out? I'd love to hear your tips or stories, good or bad! Both of my bottom ones are sitting right against this artery and nerve bundle so if my surgeon cuts or bruises the nerve(s) I will lose feeling in the lips, chin and cheek on that side. He seems confident about removing them now that we did this cool cone beam CT scan and we found out they're on the tongue side. Anyways, I'm not very worried about that, just the eating only soft foods for a few weeks and having to crush up T3's and probably taste them (I can't swallow pills).
This is turning into a long post word-wise so... onto the nails!
To start, I applied two coats of OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls and allowed it to dry. I then painted two coats of liquid latex around my nails for easier clean up, or so I thought. The liquid latex peeled off in tiny pieces and was terrible to work with, much like the previous time I used it. Since purchasing Simply Peel I will never battle with that stupid liquid latex again. Ana formulated Simply Peel herself and it is a liquid latex product that works amazingly! In one thin coat it works infinitely better than any liquid latex I could have imagined after using that other stuff!
Finally, I went in with American Apparel Hassid and a striping brush for the funky-looking wheat. An additional coat of top coat and a bit of clean up and I was done!
I absolutely loved wearing these nails and looking at these pictures now, I'm still madly in love with the design! What do you guys think of this look? I'd love to know!

Next, I went in with Girly Bits Hip Hoop Hurray! (the pinker purple that I'm holding in the picture below) and Girly Bits Get Indie Flow (the blue-toned purple on most of my nail) on a damp sponge. After three to four layers of sponging I applied a coat of top coat to blend the colours further.
Finally, I went in with American Apparel Hassid and a striping brush for the funky-looking wheat. An additional coat of top coat and a bit of clean up and I was done!
