Black and White Random Designs!

Hello my lovely readers! Today I have some black and white random design nail art to share!

I'm super happy with the way these came out, unlike how I felt about my last post :P.

For these nails I used a fairly small nail art brush and a very small nail art brush (both modified by me to make them thin enough for nail art). I basically sat down knowing I wanted to have polka dots on one nail and no other ideas! After finishing my first hand, I decided to do similar designs on my other hand to try and match my first designs.

Anyways, onto the pictures!

Black used: Orly Liquid Vinyl

White used: OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls

Thank you so much for stopping by everyone, I hope you're all doing well! :)

Rainbow Zig Zag Nail Art!

Hello everyone! Today I have some super fun and cute zig zag nail art to share!

My nails may look a bit bumpy here because I've decided to start a more serious no-buy, despite the fact that I'm almost out of top coat! I'm trying to conserve what little I have left, especially because I often paint other people's nails!

For this look I used a nail art brush I got off of eBay and then cut almost all of the bristles off of. I started off with two coats of OPI Care to Danse? for a sheer base! Then I just dabbed a drop of one colour at a time on a stack of paper and went to work!

Onto the pictures and names of the colours!

Thanks for reading everybody! I'm back into nail art and feeling more like myself, so expect more fun designs! If you guys ever have any requests for a certain colour comparison post, a swatch of a colour, a review of a nail care product, or a certain kind of nail art and/or tutorial just let me know in the comments or on another of my social media pages! :)

More Black Sheep Lacquer Swatches: Punk Rock Penny, Orange Crush, Under the Bridge, Paradise City, and First Polish on the Moon!

Hey everybody! Today I got some Black Sheep Lacquer polishes in the mail to swatch! I also got some Hex Nail Jewelry that I'll be posting about soon!

I have a bunch of things on their way to me (mostly polish-related items) from before I started my no-buy month that I'm really excited about! I bought some glitters from YouMix a week or so ago and I'm really excited to do some individually placed glitter manis with them! I'm most excited that my Jeffrey Campbell Litas arrived though! I've started posting OOTDs on my Instagram so if you're interested go ahead and follow me here!

Anyways, all of these polishes had lovely unproblematic formulas, so onto the swatches!

I reswatched this one because the pictures I got of it last time weren't that good, and because the author of Blueberry Nails wanted to know how it'd look without a white base!

Re-swatched Black Sheep Lacquer's Lateralus (holographic top coat)!

Hey all! Today I have better swatches of Black Sheep Lacquer Lateralus to share! It's been so sunny here so I thought holographic nails would be awesome! I was out shopping all day (which totally exhausted me) so I decided to do a quick mani before I went out. I was staring at my nails in the Sun all day!

I'm going on my first ever no-buy month starting today because I bought a lot of clothes (and some polish) today. I would love to have another blog where I posted clothing hauls and OOTDs because I want to share my weird style with the world! I scored some black Jeffrey Campbell Litas for fifty bucks the other day off of eBay (plus fifty dollar shipping) and I'm thinking of doing a mani and photo shoot with the shoes and nails once they get here! I like to think I can post outfits or clothing bits on here as long as I do my nails to match, what do you guys think? Would any of you be interested in another blog from me featuring hauls and outfit of the days? Let me know in the comments! :)

Onto the pictures!

The blue I used here is one coat of OPI OPI... Eurso Euro and the white is two coats of OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls! This is just one coat of Lateralus over both!

My Picks from the Sally Hansen Sugar Coat Collection: Swatches and Review!

Hello everybody! Today I have swatches of the five Sally Hansen Sugar Coat polishes I picked up from the States last month to share!

I'm going to go ahead and talk about the formula here because almost all of them had the same formula, I'll mention the differences under the pictures if there are any! These polishes were quite easy to work with as long as you applied thick coats (to get the polish where you want it and to not build a grit barrier and an uneven line). Most of these polishes are white-based and most of them took two thick coats (as thin coats aren't really an option with these polishes). Dry time was really quick and to my surprise, I like these polishes as much as glitter-containing textured matte polishes!

Onto the swatches!

You can see here what the finish of these polishes look like at one coat, there are shiny and smooth bits as well as gritty matte ones!

Sally Hansen Cherry Drop

Cherry Drop- two coats

This polish was a jelly polish, not a white-based creme like the other four Sugar Coats in this post. It was super opaque but at two coats it still had VNL because it's a jelly. This polish had a longer drying time than the rest, and it had a more subtle textured matte effect.
