Iridescent Hoop Tape Nails Featuring Some China Glaze The Giver Polishes!

Hey everybody! Today I have some cool iridescent hoop tape nails to share!

I woke up today with the cold I've felt coming on for a while now. At least I have today off to relax in bed with Paul and do some school work!

Onto the nails!

I started off with two coats of Intelligence, Integrity & Courage (grey) on some nails and History of the World (blue-toned purple) on the others.

After that had dried, I cut up some hoop tape and placed strips and pieces on two nails per hand. It was difficult to get them to lay flat and some edges came up while I wore these, despite using two layers of top coat.

I then realized another new polish I got on sale would go with this, so I painted a coat of OPI Visions of Georgia Green on top of one nail per hand.

What do you lovely people think of this look? I fancy a salon-style mani every once and a while so I quite liked these even though they were quite girly!

Thanks so much for reading everyone! I got my looks in the wrong order so now you'll be seeing the vampy dry marble tomorrow! Happy Wednesday! =)

Fall Stained Glass Using the OPI Color Paints!

Hey everyone! Today I have some jewel-toned stained glass nails to share!

I am almost falling asleep as I write this with my kitty Paul laying with my arm around him and his head on my chest. He's the nicest kitty we've ever had and he especially loves me which makes me feel so special! He's drifting in and out of sleep and soon I will be too. It's going to be an early night!

Onto the nails!

Fall Stained Glass Using the OPI Color Paints

I started off with a black lattice using American Apparel Hassid and a striper brush. I'm really into this design lately and I think it turns out better each time!

Fall Stained Glass Using the OPI Color Paints

Next, I went in with five of the OPI Color Paints (Landscape Artist, Turquoise Aesthetic, Indigo Motif, Purple Perspective and Magenta Muse) on a small paintbrush.

That's about all I can think to say about this look in my tired and sick-feeling state, other than the fact that I love these! What do you guys think of them?

Thanks so much for having a look guys! I'll be back with a vampy dry marble tomorrow! Happy Tuesday! =)

OPI Color Paints Rainbow Horizontal Gradient!

Hey everyone! Today I have a super easy rainbow horizontal gradient using the OPI Color Paints to share!

I have an immunology midterm tomorrow so today will probably be spent curled up in my bed studying and cuddling my cat Paul. He always supports me when I'm studying, to the point where the day after I'm done studying he'll still be in my room all day! He's such a cutie.

Onto the nails!

OPI Color Paints Rainbow Horizontal Gradient

Because I had eight colours, I needed to have three nails with two colours and two with three colours. I decided to go with the traditional accent nails; the thumb and ring finger.

OPI Color Paints Rainbow Horizontal Gradient

I went in with the first colour for most of the nails and the first and last colour for the accent nails. After allowing that to dry, I went in with the last and middle colours, creating the overlap.

OPI Color Paints Rainbow Horizontal Gradient

Though these nails did turn out a bit cool, I'd prefer them if I had have done a proper gradient with a sponge.

So, what do you guys think? If you're not yet convinced that the Color Paints are amazing I have more looks featuring them coming at you!

Thanks so much for having a look everyone! I'll be back with a few different marbled looks! Happy Sunday! =)

Squishy Rainbow Marble Using the OPI Color Paints & A Mint and Lilac Look On Top!

Hey everyone! Today I have some super fun rainbow marble nails as well as a mint and lilac look I did on top to share!

Rather than talk a lot about my plan to start posting on here once a day, I'll just try and do it! School has been quite crazy but it has calmed down a little and I'm starting to get used to the workload. So let's get onto the many pictures and the details!

Squishy Rainbow Marble Using the OPI Color Paints (Magenta Muse, Primarily Yellow and Turquoise Aesthetic) & A Mint and Lilac Look On Top

I fell madly in love with the idea of the OPI Color Paints, and once a good review of them came out I was ecstatic! They are definitely amazing (hence why I picked up the rest after I bought the three I used here :P).

Squishy Rainbow Marble Using the OPI Color Paints (Magenta Muse, Primarily Yellow and Turquoise Aesthetic) & A Mint and Lilac Look On Top

I decided to buy the three colours closest to the real primary colours (magenta, yellow and cyan) at first in case I wouldn't have the money to buy them all. They blend together so beautifully as you can see!

Squishy Rainbow Marble Using the OPI Color Paints (Magenta Muse, Primarily Yellow and Turquoise Aesthetic) & A Mint and Lilac Look On Top

For this look I just stippled blobs of each colour (Magenta Muse, Primarily Yellow and Turquoise Aesthetic) in with a small paintbrush, making sure the blobs overlapped.

I'm all about the sheer or partially naked nail look as you likely know, so I loved the sheer and squishy look of these!

They kind of looked like the coolest candies that could ever exist.

I'm also all about challenging myself to recycle manis for the WNAC (Weekly Nail Art Challenge) 2015 so here's what I came up with for the mint and lilac prompt!

Squishy Rainbow Marble Using the OPI Color Paints (Magenta Muse, Primarily Yellow and Turquoise Aesthetic) & A Mint and Lilac Look On Top

I think I've used striping tape once or twice in my nail art life, so I decided to try some out!

These ended up quite girly but I still think they're pretty cool! I used OPI You're Such A Budapest and That's Hula-rious! I think this look as well as lots of dry marbles on Instagram have sparked my love for the technique as you'll see soon on here!

So what do you guys think of these looks? Did you like it better without the pastels on top or with? I prefer them without but I love that I got two totally different looks from the same base!

Thanks so much for taking a look you lovely people! I hope you're all doing well! I'll be back with some more Color Paints looks very soon! Happy Saturday! :)

Another MrCandiipants Spring Floral Featuring Renaissance Cosmetics Tiny Petals Everywhere!

Hey everyone! Today I have a MrCandiipants floral design and a Renaissance Cosmetics polish to share!

Some way or another, almost every mani I do goes up on my Instagram way before it makes it here. This look is a rare exception because I didn't do it for a WNAC prompt and didn't just post it for fun!

Onto the nails!

Another MrCandiipants Spring Floral Featuring Renaissance Cosmetics Tiny Petals Everywhere

To start, I applied two coats of Cirque Carpe Diem on most of my nails. On my other nails I applied just two easy coats of Renaissance Cosmetics Tiny Petals Everywhere! Funnily enough I needed three coats on my dominant hand but only two on my non-dominant hand (almost certainly because my non-dominant hand isn't so great at painting my dominant hand).

As I do lately, I decided to do some nail art to match the glitters in this indie polish! I did the famous spring floral design by MrCandiipants using American Apparel African Violet (purple), Girly Bits Cosmetics I've Got High Hoops (blue), American Apparel Rose Bowl (pink/coral) and American Apparel 7th and Alameda (grey).

Tiny Petals Everywhere had a great formula and was so easy to work with! I'm finding all Renaissance Cosmetics polishes to be absolutely amazing!

What do you guys think of this look or this adorable indie polish? I'm loving both! Also, I'm bringing back the pictures of my dominant hand because it's always fun to see how it turns out compared to the other one!

Thanks so much for taking a look everyone! I'll be back with some dare-I-say sexy black lace nails! Happy Friday everybody! =)

Pastel Water Marble Featuring Renaissance Cosmetics Spring Found Me!

Hello everybody! Today I have a pastel water marble look to share to match the glitters in Renaissance Cosmetics Spring Found Me!

I've been cleaning and redecorating my room lately, as well as getting rid of tons of clothes. I am quite the disorganized and untidy person (not dirty though) and I have a lot of trouble getting rid of things. I'm trying to change my ways because I really love being in my room when it's tidy and so does one of my cats; Dmitri (he doesn't like clutter). I am an avid thrift shopper and I have a ton of clothes, but there's also a ton I don't wear anymore or have never worn. I've gone through a small portion of my clothes and I already have almost three buckets worth to get rid of! :)

Onto the nails!

To start, I applied two coats of Color Club French Tip as a base for the water marble. I bought this polish because Cristine of Simply Nailogical thinks it's the best white creme, but I'm definitely liking Cirque Carpe Diem more! In two coats French Tip still wasn't opaque, though I didn't swap out the brush for a thicker one like Cristine suggested.

On my other nails, I went in with three coats of Renaissance Cosmetics Spring Found Me! It was super easy to work with and all of the pastel microglitters in it are so adorable!

Next, I coated my skin up to my first knuckle in Bliss Kiss Simply Peel for easier cleanup. I then did a water marble with the following four American Apparel polishes: Coney Island (pink), L'Esprit (purple), California Trooper (nude) and The Valley (blue)!

After a bit of dry time I added a coat of Essie Good To Go to all my nails and I was done!

I kind of think water marble nails as accent nails are about 1000X less cool than doing your whole hand, so I think water marble nails are an all or nothing kind of thing. Next time I'll do all my nails! What do you guys think of this look or this Renaissance Cosmetics polish? I'm loving the brand already!

Thanks so much for having a look everyone! I'll be back with another Renaissance Cosmetics polish pretty soon! Happy Friday! =)

Doctor Lacquer Testosterone Swatch & Review!

Hello everyone! Today I have an adorable thermal polish from Doctor Lacquer to share!

Today I have a quick post with lots of pictures for you guys! I'm still not caught up on here and I'm really not caught up on most of my other social media accounts so hopefully I can finally get caught up soon.

Anyways, onto the nails!

Doctor Lacquer Testosterone Swatch & Review

What you see here is three easy coats of Testosterone. It dried matte/satin and so freaking fast which was awesome! By the time I finished a coat on one hand the other hand was completely dry which was crazy to me! It had a great formula and was so easy to work with.

Doctor Lacquer Testosterone Swatch & Review

This polish is a cold-sensitive thermal, meaning it will only change colour if it gets colder than room temperature (hence why my nails and the bottle are blue). Because of this, I didn't see it turn purple unless I held my nails in ice water for about thirty seconds.

Doctor Lacquer Testosterone Swatch & Review

Here it is transitioning from cold (purple) back to warm (blue). Look at those adorable glitters! It's really cool that the purple glitters almost blend in to the polish when it's cold, it gives the polish a totally different look!

Doctor Lacquer Testosterone Swatch & Review

I absolutely loved wearing this polish. I've been pining for these polishes since they came out so I'm so happy to own the whole Hormonal Efficiency collection now!

What do you guys think of this polish or Doctor Lacquer in general? I'm madly in love with both already!

Thanks so much for taking a look everyone! I'll be back with some negative space glitter nails and some negative space dry brush nails! Happy Thursday guys! :)

Wheat At Sunset Nail Art Inspired by Chalkboard Nails Featuring Some Girly Bits Hoop! There It Is Collection Polishes (Duh!)!

Yo yo yo my lovely people! Today I have a look inspired by the lovely Sarah of Chalkboard Nails to share!

It just dawned on me that in less than two days I'll be going into surgery to get my wisdom teeth out. It really has been like summer over here because I didn't know we were this close to Friday already! Have any of you guys had your wisdom teeth out? I'd love to hear your tips or stories, good or bad! Both of my bottom ones are sitting right against this artery and nerve bundle so if my surgeon cuts or bruises the nerve(s) I will lose feeling in the lips, chin and cheek on that side. He seems confident about removing them now that we did this cool cone beam CT scan and we found out they're on the tongue side. Anyways, I'm not very worried about that, just the eating only soft foods for a few weeks and having to crush up T3's and probably taste them (I can't swallow pills).

This is turning into a long post word-wise so... onto the nails!

Wheat At Sunset Nail Art Inspired by Chalkboard Nails Featuring Some Girly Bits Hoop! There It Is Collection Polishes (Duh!)!

To start, I applied two coats of OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls and allowed it to dry. I then painted two coats of liquid latex around my nails for easier clean up, or so I thought. The liquid latex peeled off in tiny pieces and was terrible to work with, much like the previous time I used it. Since purchasing Simply Peel I will never battle with that stupid liquid latex again. Ana formulated Simply Peel herself and it is a liquid latex product that works amazingly! In one thin coat it works infinitely better than any liquid latex I could have imagined after using that other stuff!

Next, I went in with Girly Bits Hip Hoop Hurray! (the pinker purple that I'm holding in the picture below) and Girly Bits Get Indie Flow (the blue-toned purple on most of my nail) on a damp sponge. After three to four layers of sponging I applied a coat of top coat to blend the colours further.

Finally, I went in with American Apparel Hassid and a striping brush for the funky-looking wheat. An additional coat of top coat and a bit of clean up and I was done!

I absolutely loved wearing these nails and looking at these pictures now, I'm still madly in love with the design! What do you guys think of this look? I'd love to know!

Thanks so much for reading! I'll be back with some lattice nails as well as some strawberry nails very soon! Happy Wednesday! :)
