Hey-lo my lovely people! I have at least a few posts I need to get up and I already want to repaint my nails, so expect more posts from me for a while! This simple look features the gorgeous Rainbow Honey Lumine Hall!
It has been so nice (and weird) being out of school finally, especially after a bunch of finals! I don't know what I'm going to do with myself over this huge break other than paint my and other peoples' nails a lot! :P I will also be applying for scholarships, possibly looking for a job and going on a trip with my sister! As bored as I might get being out of school for four months, I'm scared to transfer to a university from college. It and the class sizes are so much bigger and it's all going to be so different! Anyways, onto the nails!
For these nails I started with a coat of my go to base coat, OPI Matte Nail Envy. Once that had dried, I went in with Rainbow Honey Lumine Hall using just the brush from the bottle! I only used one thick coat of Lumine Hall but two thinner ones would have covered a little better. This polish was almost too thick to work with by the time I got to my other hand, but I totally could have just added thinner before I finished both hands! I have since and it's gotten a lot better!
I then applied a coat of top coat just over top of the polish (not the practically bare nail)!
What do you guys think of these nails? I'd love to hear in the comments!
Thank you so much for reading everyone, I'll have some Born Pretty Store reviews up soon featuring some fun nail art looks! Happy Monday! :)

Rainbow Honey Apple Kid & Watercolour Nail Art!
Hey everyone! Today I have a swatch and review of Rainbow Honey Apple Kid and some watercolour nail art on top to share!
I am super happy today because it's Friday! I do have a bunch of homework and studying to do over the weekend but I'm trying to be less lazy and more motivated so it might not be so bad! I'll be proud of myself for doing the work and putting in the effort! I even decided to dress like I used to today (i.e. less lazily and comfily) to try and get myself back on track. Remember when I was following the Blogilates calendar? I haven't worked out since I stopped and I remember being more motivated for school when I was working out, so I'd like to start up again! Life changes excitement aside, let's get onto the nails!
I decided to wear a pink polish for once the other day, so I reached for one of my many untried Rainbow Honey's, Apple Kid. My camera hates reds and pinks so I think this is showing up a little too pink and not quite red enough here!
Another thing that's a little bit off in these pictures is my skin tone, because dang did this polish make me look pale. I kind of like when a polish does that because it means it's really freaking bright and bold!
The formula and consistency of this polish was awesome, definitely no complaints there! I've just been loving all of my Rainbow Honey's so far!
And now we have the nail art! I thinned out blobs of Essie DJ Play that Song (purple), Sally Hansen Fiery Island (orange) and Nyx Girls Bloody Mary (red) with acetone on a piece of paper and painted random blobs of them on my nail! I then messily covered my entire nail with a thinned out coat of American Apparel Angeline (pink) with my nail art brush to tone down and blend some of the colours in better.
Next I applied one coat of China Glaze Fairy Dust followed by a coat of top coat! It would have been so fun to add some stars and turn these into sunset galaxy nails!
Thanks so much for reading everyone! How do you feel about this nail art or Rainbow Honey Apple Kid? I'd love to know! Happy Friday! =)

This lovely polish was just about a one-coater but I did two just to be sure! I also added a coat of top coat and it dried super shiny (unlike it looks here). Ugh, taking accurate pictures of my nails is an endless struggle, but at least they keep getting better!

Another thing about these pictures is it's hard to see the different colours that were painted on. If you check out my Instagram there is a picture where you can see the different colours better! I think the dulled shine, improper white balance and the fact that it's hard to distinguish between the colours is because like other cameras, my camera hates reds and has difficulty photographing them!

Rainbow Honey Swatches and Review: Papillon and Magic Cake!
Hey everyone! Today I have a swatch and review of two lovely Rainbow Honey polishes to share; Papillon and Magic Cake!
I am still just absolutely exhausted from my two back-to-back midterms yesterday evening so I'll keep this short! How are you guys doing today/this week? Let me know in the comments!
I'll be hosting a giveaway once I reach 150 Tumblr followers, so you guys can follow me on Tumblr here if you'd like to see the giveaway start sooner! It will be open to the US and Canada only unfortunately, sorry guys, I'm a poor student!
Application was super easy and I only had to fish for a few butterflies, and I did all ten nails so that's pretty darn great!
What you see here is just one easy coat followed by a coat of topcoat, with two coats of Revlon Timeless for undies!
Pink is definitely not my colour and even so, I absolutely loved this polish! You can check out it's holographic awesomeness below in an Instagram video I posted a few days ago!
I apologize for all of the bubbles in this mani, I painted it pretty quickly pretty close to a fan and it definitely shows!
Application was just a hair trickier with this one as the glitters were slightly more difficult to move around and separate. I think that's often the case with glitter-packed polishes like this and it was still completely manageable!
For the base I used two coats of Sally Hansen Barracuda, and then I topped it off with one coat of Magic Cake and a coat of top coat!
What do you guys think of these lovely glitter toppers? I'd love to hear in the comments! As always, thank you so much for reading everyone! Happy Tuesday!
*These polishes were sent to me in exchange for swatches and an honest review.

First up we have Papillon, a clear-based glitter topper with silver shimmer, iridescent hexes and tons of different pink and purple holographic glitter (including the butterflies)!

For some crazy reason I didn't think I was going to like this polish, but I was SO wrong! The name is so perfect too! I'm currently wearing it and I like to imagine I have ten little magic cakes on my nails with light blue frosting and sprinkles!

Rainbow Honey Swatch and Review: Sweet Talk and Xoxo!
Hey everyone! Today I'm here with two Valentine's Day polishes that I received in a surprise swatch package from Rainbow Honey!
I was really shocked and excited when I saw the package in the mail, and they included a lovely note with a coupon code I'm allowed to share with you awesome people! From now until March 31st you can enter the code ILOVENAILBLOGS to get five dollars off of your orders!
Onto the nails! Get ready for a lot of pictures!
First up we have Sweet Talk, a white crelly polish with medium-sized light blue, purple and pink glitters, as well as smaller pink glitters and even pink shimmer! The base almost looks pink on the nail because of all the awesome shimmer!
Formula-wise this polish was perfect; it was super easy to apply and it dried very quickly! It wasn't even very bumpy without top coat despite all of the glitter, and I'm just wearing a thin layer of top coat over two coats of it here!
I always love a good white crelly and this one is that and more!
Next we have Xoxo over two coats of Essie Bikini so Teeny! The pink/red glitters really make Bikini so Teeny look purple instead of blue, which I'm actually happy about because I think purple looks really awesome with this polish! This baby has pink or red hexes in varying sizes (to me they look red but I've heard other people call them pink and I know I see some colours that most people consider pink as other colours), silver holographic microglitters, and even gold flakies that look different over different bases!
The formula on this polish was a dream just like Sweet Talk, easy to apply and quick-drying! What you see here is one coat of Xoxo over my undies and a coat of top coat on top!
I couldn't really tell how this polish would look on the nail by looking at the bottle, and I love it even more than I thought I would! I think it would look fantastic over any base colour!
Finally, we have Xoxo again but over a different base! The base is two or three coats (on some nails two, on others three) of the famous OPI My Vampire is Buff!
Thank you so much for reading everyone! What do you think of these polishes? And which base do you like better for Xoxo? I'd love to hear in the comments! Happy Thursday!

Rainbow Honey The Kraken over Butter London Slapper!
Hey everyone! Today I have another lovely Rainbow Honey polish to share!
I'm sorry I haven't been posting quite as often as usual guys, I've been feeling a bit off and though I've been excited to blog I've been having trouble coming up with anything to say. Usually I talk about my day or my yesterday but recently I've been finding all of my writing and transitions especially awkward :P. I also haven't posted my last three or more manis anywhere but here and Instagram, so I need to get caught up on that too! So hopefully today I'll be able to write like normal and catch up on posting everything everywhere! :)
Now, onto the nails! I started off with one coat of Butter London Slapper, a neonish teal polish that is a little more green than it looks in these pictures (the bottle-holding picture is close to accurate, still too blue though). I didn't add a top coat for the pictures so what you see is just one coat of Slapper over two coats of base coat because this baby stains!
Next I added a coat of Rainbow Honey The Kraken and a coat of top coat. I really love this polish! It has a perfect formula and the glitters are perfectly suspended in the base so there's no need to reverse the bottle before polishing!
The large gold hexes in this beauty are holographic which is always a bonus! I'm really falling in love with Rainbow Honey polishes and I would definitely recommend ordering from them if you're thinking about it!
I should note this polish is quite opaque on its own and it would probably be a two-coater, so there's no need for undies! I just decided to use them because even though I use the foil method to remove glitter, the glitter tends to make my nails peel so I always have little bumps on my nails :(. You can see what I'm talking about on my middle finger in the pictures of Slapper and other swatches I've posted recently for that matter :P. I did get a really nice buffer in a nail set from my cousin for Christmas so I'll definitely try that after I take these off! I get scared about buffing my nails too much because I don't want to reverse all of the work that OPI Nail Envy has done in thickening and strengthening my nails! :P

Another thing I have to do soon is try and fit all of my nail polish on my nail polish racks! I'm pretty sure it has gotten to the point where they won't all fit, maybe that's why I've been putting off trying to put them all back :P. I will definitely post an updated collection post when the polishes on their way to me get here!

Rainbow Honey I Miss You over OPI Lost On Lombard!
Hey everyone! Today I have a swatch of OPI Lost On Lombard and Rainbow Honey I Miss You to share!
I went on a small shopping spree yesterday and (finally) spent some of the money I got for my birthday! I picked up some leggings, a cardigan, a polish (Lost On Lombard) and an Avojuice lotion! I've since spent the rest of my birthday money online on another cardigan and some comfy pants and I can't wait until they get here! I have a sweater and cardigan obsession in case you didn't know! :P
I'm really loving the Avojuice lotion by the way guys, I've heard really good things about it and they're all true! It soaks in incredibly fast and they have super festive holiday scents such as Holly Berry, the one I picked up yesterday!
Onto the nails! All I did was two easy coats of OPI Lost On Lombard and a coat and some dabs of Rainbow Honey I Miss You!
How cute is I Miss You? I think it would look even cooler over a black because there would be even more of a contrast of pastel and dark!
Also, what do you guys think of me putting a square version of the picture I'm going to Instagram instead of the original pictures in my posts? I kind of love the whole square picture thing because they show up bigger than normal-sized pictures! I might like to try using all square pictures so they're bigger and all Instagram friendly!
What have you guys been up to lately, done any shopping for yourselves or just for others? Thanks so much for reading guys! :)
