Hi everyone! Today I have some really simple triangle half moon nails to show you!
For the first time ever I painted my nails with insufficient light, and it definitely shows! My triangles are all wonky and there are bald spots in my base colour! :P
Anyways, since I'll probably be repainting my nails pretty soon and posting a better mani soon, let's just get on with it and onto the pictures!
Blue base: Black Sheep Lacquer Badass
Black triangles/half moons: Orly Liquid Vinyl
Thank you so much for reading everybody! I'll have some more interesting nail art and Black Sheep Lacquer swatches for you all very soon! :)

Black Sheep Lacquer Swatches UPDATED: Grab Your Toque, Tequila Sunrise and Space Cowboy!
Hello everyone! I'm vacationing a few hours from home at a cool beach for a few days, so naturally, I brought around thirty polishes with me! I have the remaining three Black Sheep Lacquer polishes I own so far all swatched for you lovelies! The two glitter toppers were generously sent to me for swatches, but I bought the other one myself! All had awesome formulas as I've come to expect with Black Sheep Lacquer polishes, so this post is not an in-depth review but a bit of a swatch fest!
Onto the polishes!
Undies for the first polish I have to show you guys! Left to right (or pinky to thumb) excluding repeats: OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls, Orly Liquid Vinyl, and American Apparel Poppy! I managed to only use one coat of each of these undies by using a thick coat!
UPDATE: This glitter topper is called Grab Your Toque and it's filled with small red and matte white hexes, even smaller matte white squares and silver shimmer! This is just one coat over my undies!
Undies for the second polish! Left to right (or pinky to thumb) excluding repeats: Color Club Almost Famous, OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls, and Essie Mod Square! Again, this is just one thick coat of each undie!
UPDATE: This glitter topper is called Tequila Sunrise and it has tiny neon yellow glitters, tiny gold holographic glitters, and large and small neon pink matte square glitters! SECOND UPDATE: Black Sheep Lacquer has recently put out another polish called Tequila Sunrise, and the new one (not this one) is the only one available for purchase at this time. So I'm pretty sure this glitter topper one has been discontinued!
Lastly, I have Space Cowboy to show you guys! As with many neons, this polish's true colour won't translate to pictures. I actually checked to see if this polish glowed in the dark because it's so neon and bright! Imagine a glowing neon Creamsicle, that's what this polish actually looks like! Space Cowboy is a neon orange jelly with medium-sized matte yellow and blue hexes, large matte blue hexes, and a few tiny neon orange particles/glitters! This swatch shows just two coats!
Thanks for reading everyone! I'll be doing some real nail art for the first time in a while today or tomorrow and I'll be posting it tomorrow! :)

Black Sheep Lacquer Swatches and Review: Ride the Lightening, Dragon Scale and Into the Void!
These three polishes were sent for me to swatch by the lovely Erin of Black Sheep Lacquer! Excuse the small cut on my thumb making an appearance in these pictures, I must have nicked myself with my razor in the bath! :P I ended up loving all of these polishes even more than I thought I would after applying them!
Get ready for a bunch of pictures!
First up is Ride the Lightening, a jade green metallic polish with what looks to be holographic glitter thrown in! The formula on this one was wonderful, I went over some spots on my nail many times with the brush with no balding issues! It seems to be a bit thick, but it applies as if it isn't; wonderfully self-leveling and easily spreadable. This is one of the polishes made with a new formula she's trying out, and I definitely approve! What you see here is two coats of Ride the Lightening plus one coat of top coat!
Next up is Dragon Scale (that is slightly different than the one available on her shop in that it contains small blue glitters)! Dragon Scale is a blue metallic polish that has a bit of a green duo-chrome effect. This polish had an amazing formula as well, and this is just two easy coats plus a coat of top coat!
Finally, this beauty is called Into the Void. When I got all of these polishes in the mail my boyfriend even picked this one up and mentioned how cool it was! Into the Void is a clear base filled with what I think are small silver holographic glitters (it wasn't sunny enough today to tell unfortunately), medium-sized teal hexagon and square glitters, and medium-sized copper hexes. This is just one coat over my undies, this polish is packed with well behaved (as in non-curling) glitter! This would have to be my favourite of the three, I really loved it over both base colours I chose!
I'll be posting at least three more three polish Black Sheep Lacquer posts in the near future so stay tuned! Check out more of Erin's awesome polishes at her Etsy shop here! Thanks for reading! :)

My undies for the last polish featured in this post (the black is two coats of Orly Liquid Vinyl and the grey is one coat of Sally Hansen Wet Cement)!

Black Sheep Lacquer Swatches and Review: Lateralus, Aliens Exist, and Strawberry! :)
This is a picture heavy post, so be warned! The lovely Erin (owner of Black Sheep Lacquer) has a few awesome sales running on her Etsy shop currently (here), so I couldn't resist picking up a few pretties!
Thank you so much for reading! Check out Black Sheep Lacquer on Etsy here and pick up some of Erin's awesome polishes!
First up is Lateralus, a linear holographic top coat. It has a wonderful formula, and it levels and spreads fantastically. The pictures show the polish in varying degrees of sunlight, from indirect sunlight to close to full sunlight (the holo effect gets even stronger than in these pictures, the Sun decided to get a little brighter after I took these). This is one coat of Lateralus on top of two coats (from thumb to pinky) of OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls, American Apparel Office, Essie Mojito Madness, Essie Going Incognito, and Orly Liquid Vinyl. I didn't use a top coat for theses swatches, because Lateralus is so smooth when dry that you don't need to! I love this top coat so much that I prefer it over black than the black Color Club Halo Hue, Beyond!
Next up is Aliens Exist, a neon lime green jelly with tiny gold circle glitters and large matte black diamond glitters. The colour is less pale and more yellow than pictured here, but like most neons, it's difficult to capture accurately on camera unfortunately! I used three coats for the opacity you see here and no top coat. As you can see, this polish dries to an awesome satiny finish! The formula of this polish is amazing, in addition to not having to fish for glitters, it: dries quickly, isn't streaky, and it levels well!
Lastly we have Strawberry, my personal favourite if I had to choose! This beautiful polish is a red/pink jelly with green bar glitters, red bar glitters, and matte black hexagon and square glitters! I used two coats for the opacity you see here and one coat of top coat. Since this polish is absolutely packed with glitter, I'd suggest two coats of top coat for a totally smooth finish (though I prefer the textured look at one coat). Like the other two gorgeous polishes featured in this post, this polish was very easy to apply, and it levels itself out nicely! Like Aliens Exist, there was no need to fish the glitter out of the bottle!
Thank you so much for reading! Check out Black Sheep Lacquer on Etsy here and pick up some of Erin's awesome polishes!

Nyx Girls Mermaid Green with a Holographic Tip!
This is just a quick and simple mani because I'm waiting for five polishes that should come in the mail any day now! I just know I'll have to take these off and try out a new polish! I absolutely LOVE the base colour I'm wearing here, it's Nyx Girls Mermaid Green and it's the most gorgeous teal ever! This is just two coats with my current top coat, Essie's Good To Go :). The holographic top coat I'm wearing here is NOPI Make a Comet-ment, and I did the black stripes with Orly Liquid Leather!
I finally perfected putting curved text on my pictures from Kayla Shevonne's tutorial here, so these more professional-looking photos are here to stay! I'm also going to make sure to mention how many coats of each I'm wearing in future posts, and I'll put up a nail care post outlining the products I use and a review of them (including base coats and top coats) as soon as I can! Thanks so much for reading!

Water Marble and Heart Rhinestones on my Mom!
The nude is Sand Tropez, and the other colours I used in the water marble were: OPI's Chocolate Mousse, Orly's Mind's Eye, OPI's You Don't Know Jacques, and Essie's No More Film!
